Weil bei den Moslems am Freitag Sonntag ist, ist auch am Donnerstag Samstag und somit Ausgang! In Khartoum geht man aber nicht in die Beiz zum Jassen, und so waren wir richtig froh, dass uns Mohammed, Omer und Mubarak zeigten, wie Ausgang im Sudan funktioniert: Schafs- und Kalbsfuesse essen und dann an den Nil zum Tee trinken und diskutieren!
Because the muslims’ sunday is friday, saturday is thursday – time to go out! Unlike in Entlebuch, going out in Khartoum is not about sitting in a restaurant and playing cards. But we were lucky enough to meet Mohammed, Omer and Mubarak who showed us how Khartoums night life works: eating sheep- and calf-feet and then sitting at the shore of the nile, sipping tea and discussing! Thanks boys for this really great evening – hope we can do this again, insh’allah!
